Abstract Submission


The Abstract Submission Deadline has been moved to:

March 22, 2011

Interested authors can submit an abstract to the EUCAS-ISEC-ICMC 2011 website before March 22, 2011. All Abstracts must be submitted electronically.

The abstracts will be available for all conference attendees in the Program and Abstract Book during the conference.


Presentations and Publications:

Abstracts accepted for the Conference will be presented in either oral or poster sessions. All presentations must be in English.

The presenting author must be a registered participant. Multiple submissions by one author are acceptable but the registration fee covers only one abstract submission per registered participant. Each additional abstract will incur a fee of 185 euro. This additional fee will be added to the Registration Fee.

A full paper can be submitted before or during the conference, the deadline is Thursday September 22, 2011. Instructions for manuscript preparation for the full paper will also be made available on the EUCAS-ISEC-ICMC 2011


Important Dates:

The deadline for abstract submission is March 22, 2011. This deadline is absolutely firm and will NOT be extended. Abstracts that are not submitted to the Conference submission site by March 22, 2011 will only be considered at the discretion of the program chairs.

Notice of acceptance for inclusion in the EUCAS-ISEC-ICMC 2011 program will be sent electronically by the end of April, 2011.


Abstract Submission Guidelines:

Authors are requested to submit abstracts addressing all aspects of applied superconductivity. The abstract is a half page (A4) description of the content of the paper, including a title, author listing and contact information. The abstract is used to check the relevance of the paper and to make the conference program. The abstract must be in English.

  • Please do not email or fax abstracts. Only uploaded abstracts will be considered.
  • Authors must submit abstracts by selecting a submission category, see Category List.
  • Authors must indicate their preference for a Poster or an Oral presentation.

Instruction for Abstract Preparation:

Authors are requested to prepare their abstract exactly in accordance with the instructions given below. This will ensure that abstracts received from different authors are consistent in style and format.


Preparation:

  • The half page (A4) abstract must be a text file in MS Word, Open Office or LaTex. We do not accept pdf-files.
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Line spacing : 1.0
  • Margins: Top: 2.54 cm ; Left: 2.54 cm ; Right: 2.54 cm
  • Do not use pictures or graphs
  • If Times roman is not available, a font similar to Times New Roman should be used.

Format:

1.Title:max. 250 characters (including spaces), 12 points Font size, Bold
2.Author's Name:max. 200 characters (including spaces), 10 points Font size, Regular
3.Author's Affiliation:max. 300 characters (including spaces), 10 points Font size, Italic
4.Abstract Body:max. 1500 characters (including spaces), 10 points Font size, Regular

Each uploaded file will be reviewed and approved to verify the format. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of any uploaded information.
